South Australia Department of Education have a Learner Wellbeing division. You can find out what they are doing here. Robyn Hromek's book Emotional Coaching was shortlisted for a prestigious award in the UK. The new on-line Journal of Student Wellbeing may be of interest to both researchers and practitioners. http://www.ojs.unisa.edu.au/journals/index.php/JSW Helen McGrath and Toni Noble's Bounceback program has been selected by 8 out of 10 schools in the initial Kids Matter program on mental health promotion in primary schools. On 10 March this year, Peta Blood convened an Australian Working Party to Read or download the May 2006 Forum Report "Work, Families and Wellbeing" here. In Canberra the Calwell Cluster are developing their Emotional Literacy Curriculum as part of the Values in Education Initiative. Some of their work will be included in the Teaching and Learning Resources to be published later this year. Michelle Nemec presented two papers in Michigan on leadership and emotional literacy research.
